By using Skano you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the service is
Skano provides estimates of calories and macros based on the appearance of a dish and the ingredients visible in a photo. These are not laboratory measurements and may differ from actual values.
Skano is not a substitute for medical or dietetic advice. If you have a health condition or take medication, consult a professional before changing your diet.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from theaccount deletion page.
Subscriptions
Monthly and annual subscriptions are available, with a free trial. The price, currency and trial length are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm your purchase.
- Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the end of the current period. On the App Store, auto-renewal must be turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- If you do not cancel before a free trial ends, the paid subscription begins automatically.
- Cancellation is done in your store subscription settings, not inside the app.

Payments and refunds are handled directly by Apple and Google, and refund requests are subject to their policies:
Acceptable use
- Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not upload photos unrelated to food, or photos containing other people's personal data.
- Do not reverse-engineer the app or place artificial load on the servers.
Intellectual property
The app, its content, and its trademarks belong to Skano. Photos you upload remain yours.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant the accuracy of estimates or uninterrupted availability.
This clause needs legal review, plus governing law and jurisdiction.Changes
